C!SN 11.8.15: Wagons Ho Ho Ho and Rock Solid Academy Fitness - The Warehouse Gym.

Story:

Burke and I are proud supporters of buying local whenever possible. We start the podcast with an article titled 15 Reasons to Shop Locally. As we go in to the holidays season and you think about gift purchases, there are two events coming up in November where you can purchase local products: Craftin' Outlaws and Not Your Mama's Craft Market. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new vendors! Remember, one of the great features of supporting a local shop or diner is you do not have to be anonymous. This is a fantastic opportunity to make real connections!

On Saturday, Burke and I met Donn Ditzhazy from RMD Advertising. Eight years ago, RMD Advertising magically and creatively put kindness to action and, from that, Wagons Ho Ho Ho began. The mission of Wagons Ho Ho Ho is to provide a red wagon and a holiday meal for a family with food insecurities in central Ohio and surrounding counties, and as of last year, southern Ohio! Wagons Ho Ho Ho started with 25 wagons, and as of 2014 grew to 800 wagons! There is a volunteer work day to build the wagons, and the news is: all the volunteer spots are FULL! Wow! People love to lend a hand to support organizations providing for families! Even still, we all have an opportunity to support Wagons Ho Ho Ho with our online donations and also food drives in our offices and churches. Check out their website for more information and listen to Donn on the C!SN podcast! Thank you to Donn, and RMD Advertising, for your goodwill to all!

Sunday, Burke and I met with James McGuire of Rock Solid Academy Fitness - The Warehouse Gym. We received an email a couple of weeks ago by gym member, Courtney, about The Warehouse Gym and I am so glad she contacted us! James has an amazing story of personal growth in which everyone can admire! He has set positive goals and expectations for himself based not only on fitness, but also positive thinking, nutrition, education, parenting, and business. This mindset has led him to many credentials, including earning his WNBF Pro Card with a first place finish at the 2010 Naturalmania Nationals in New York City! He operates The Warehouse Gym at Rock Solid Academy Fitness, with a team of eight trainers. Listen to our interview with James on this episode of C!SN, give him a call, text or connect via facebook, and James can connect you with a personal trainer at The Warehouse Gym!

C!SN is always happy to feature the music of Captain Kidd!
